Which examples are you looking at?

The ones here should work with the current version:

Hi Daniel, 

thanks for your reply. I was using the old files.

I have got just one missing object ( face bondaries), but I think that is because I am using an older version of grasshopper.

Yes - it looks like that component changed id in GH1, but it is still there in earlier versions, so you can just add it back in:
