Ocean currents simulation

Hi

I would like to simulate the behaviour of sea current forces around a beach to identify suitable areas to create breakwaters and reduce sand erosion. I would also like to simulate the behaviour of sea current forces with breakwaters in. Does anybody know any similar simulation? Could Kangaroo and vector forces be used to simulate sea energy forces?
