Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Daniel and company,

I'm currently working on a tension-based net structure that will be installed at one of my university's walking plazas, acting as both shading 'canopy' and multi-screen projection interface and I'm using plug-ins kangaroo, geometry gym, and weaverbird:

I'm currently applying the wind example definition to make the triangulated/relaxed 'fabrics' move in x, y, or z directions to simulate wind:

However, I've been trying to do two things but have not had any success:

1. I want to make the WHOLE net react to wind, not just the mesh surfaces

2. Is there any quick way I could show or visualize some kind of stress as the structure is affected by the kangaroo parameters?

Question 1 is important for the simulation/exhibition of this installation and question 2 is important for liability, construction & risk management at the school in order to get this approved as soon as possible.

If you know a way to do it or point to a relevant example my project team will really appreciate your help; if you need the files, feel free to download from here:
