Difficulties in relaxing the meshes

Hi, this is my first time to kangaroo...I know it might be a simple question but I just don't know why it fails to simulate... What I am trying to do here is to connect those horn like structure into one and using the rings at the openings as connection. Right now the structure is showing a sharp 90 degree angle between those horns but what I expect is that it will be having a smoother transition when I simulate.

Is it a problem occur in the simulating command or in my model?
