algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi!,
First of all, thanks Daniel for the amazing work and effort that you did to release Kangaroo2. It's being amazing experimenting and introducing all this new features (and approach) to my personal workflow.
Diving into the problem I had: I've tried to apply the PlanarHex.gh example to a custom set of curves (all closed and working fine when baked).
Kangaroo displays and error saying "there have been one or more errors" (but in spanish...I don't understand why this kind of messages are localized) and nothing happens.
Anyone finding this same problem?
Please find attached a copy of the curve set linked to the PlanarHex.gh definition.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.
Ángel.

Hi Ángel,
The 'Show' component only works with lines, arcs, polylines, points and meshes. As your cells had slightly curved edges, these were not getting passed through properly. Attached a fixed version, where I converted these to polylines.
Hi!,
Thanks for the fast reply! Good to know :) I didn't connect the rebuilt lines to the show parameter, that was the mistake.
I just saw that you flattened all the goals in the Kangaroo input: is there any data tree modification that kangaroo performs in order to build the output data? I mean, what is the best way to supply data trees to this new kangaroo version? I suppose that it depends in the nature of the simulation that you are running...but is there any advice to keep the results as ordered and neat as possible or to optimize the running time?
Thanks!
Ok, sorry, I forgot to read the release notes where you explain beautifully how that works :)
