A new law (Bill 55) in Malta could have a significant impact on the freedom to provide services within the EU. I found a fascinating article on the subject, recommended you read, which says that the law could strengthen the internal market and create more flexible conditions for local companies. But on the other hand experts argue that it could lead to conflicts with European legislation and undermine the principles of free trade.
