Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I'm getting a Python error with Gismo.

Any clue what causes this?

Hi rpict,

Are you using the latest version of ghpython: 0.6.0.3?

If not, can you delete the ghpython.gha file from your "File->Special Folders->Components Folder", and download the newest on from:

http://www.food4rhino.com/app/ghpython

Do you also have at least Rhino 5 SR9?
Gismo at the moment does not support Rhino Beta/6.

same problem here...

ghpython 0.6.0.3 (ladybug works).

Rhino 5 SR12 x64

MapWinGIS-only-v4.9.5.0-x64

Hi Manuel,

Similar issue has been also reported some time ago on discourse forum.
It seems that some Grasshopper plugins do not "get along" well with ghpython's ghpythonlib.
One of them being Vipers.

Do you have this grasshopper installed? If yes, can you delete its .gha file, and then restart your Rhino?

If you do not have Vipers, it could be that some other Grasshopper plugin has been causing the problem.

In that case, you can try to remove all .gha files from Grasshopper's File->Special Folders->Components Folder, except ghpython2.gha.

Then try adding one .gha at the time, and see how it affect's Gismo Gismo component.
I assume this will help you identify the problematic .gha file.
