nice work oliver! Nice documentation.

I am working on a dome right now, maybe you can help me:
is your hexagonal geometry planar? I am trying to find a way of generating a spherical dome made of planar hexagones.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing, always nice to see the results from application of the tools.

 

Adrien, I've noticed that the hexagons (and pentagons) deviate further and further from a plane the higher the frequency nominated for the geodesic dome.  If you use StructDrawRhino to generate surfaces it can create them planar, but you do start to get small gaps between the adjacent edges.
