Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi All,

I was wondering if their is a way that geco can export the position vectors of sound particles over time from ecotect to grasshopper?

I know vector requests can be done with the solar functions but I do not see anything related to acoustic export.  It seems like it will be quite a bit of data (depending on the # of rays) so maybe that is why it does not exist.

I also a have a question about ecotect which someone may be able to answer.  When I import my geometries from GH, ecotect calculates the volume and area of all surfaces, and appears to do so accurately.  However, once I add a point sounds source to the ecotect geometry, the surface area calculation gets much larger, thus reducing my values of reverb time significantly.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Matt
