Error with Component reading Pachube/Cosm feeds?

Hi guys,

I am trying to connect Pachube/Cosm to Grasshopper through Firefly but I get the message shown below (URL extension don't match with specified feed type). I have tried the other types but none worked. I also made sure I had no space/return in the panel.

What should i do?

Hey Arthur,

You need to add the extension to the URL (ie. .xml, .json, or .csv).  So, something like https://cosm.com/feeds/54365.xml.  I believe all old pachube addresses are still valid as well, although they're trying to merge over to the official cosm URL address.  Anyway, try this and let me know if this helps.

Thanks so much Andy, It works now,

I clicked on the XML tab at the bottom of the page and it gave me this url: https://api.cosm.com/v2/feeds/54365.xml

Nice.  Glad it's working.  I haven't actually had a chance to test it much since they switched the name... so I'm glad it's working for you.
