algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

How to make Firefly to detect input signals from EasyVR device? It's possible for C_Sawapan_media.dll to support it? Beside EasyVR using Arduino Dpin12 for receive data, that doesn't available in firefly read component.

Thanks for advance

Hi Yasser,

I haven't worked with the EasyVR before... but I don't think it would need to be supported by the C_Sawapan_media.dll.  That library mostly deals with tapping into web cams and audio devices on your computer... but not necessarily arduino related.  I'll have to do a little more research to see if it can be supported... but it seems like the built-in Microsoft Speech Recognition engine would be better.  It uses your microphone on your computer, and the library is already supported by most .NET applications.  David was playing around with this a little while ago, and the results seemed ok.  Here's a video that he put together: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/video/speech-recognition-in-grasshoppe...

Would this help?

Andy,

It's works via Serial port component :)

Awesome.  Good to know.  Feel free to post images/videos if you get it working.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks for share, that was a nice project.

I will use it independently with arduino board at the end, so by using built-in Microsoft Speech Recognition will not works. I will try another way through arduino sketch.

Best,

Yasser
