Firstly, let me start off with an apology that the initial release of Embryo will be a little later than first anticipated due to many pesky little things getting in the way of development! I can't…Continue

Hi AJ and anyone else with this message.
One of the Embryo examples (from the old release 0.3.0) requires a beta library called Fröbel I'm currently working on for generating building massing models.
If you do run into the missing plug-in error like AJ has, please see here for the required library:
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/biomorpher/forum/topics/plugin-f...
Please note that later versions of Embryo do not include this example.
Many thanks and sorry to disturb!
John.
Hello,
Should you dare listen to me droning on (an accurate description), I've now made a video tutorial for Embryo which can be found on the main group page. This should help to clarify what this thing is all about.
Thanks,
John.
Amazing !
Why cannot I use loft or extrude with it?
LOOKS like very useful , but I can not understand , hope to get Manual / Document guide .
That's Really Great, it helps me more.
Good to hear! And good luck for your thesis!
Hi Manuel,
Just completing my thesis (due in this Friday 23rd Jan 2015), then I will release. The thesis can be referenced and I'll probably find a conference/journal somewhere.
I know its been years since I started this blog - it does prey on my mind but the bugs have been plentiful whenever I find the time to fix them - especially when combining Embryo with galapagos/octopus to evolve definitions... but I guess its pretty much there now. Hindsight and all that.
I'm interested in the boundary between explicit parametric modelling software that allows you to throw functions around a canvas quickly and formal grammars (represented as DAGs). Hopefully Embryo can help explore that.
Sorry about the delay,
John.
Will results of this research get published ???
seems great ...
