Converting Latitude and Longitude to XY Coordinates

Somewhat related to a previous question within this forum, I've had someone asking about how to convert the latitude and longitude domains from Elk to actual XY coordinates.  The attached file should show you how to translate the geo coordinates in a similar manner to how Elk is doing it internally in case you wanted to move the resulting geometry to its pseudo real world location.
