Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to simulate two surfaces (annual irradiation analysis).

One surface will be divided, the other one will not be divided (see script).

I have some problems with getting good results. The first surface receives a invalid amount of irradiation (should be ten times higher), the other one seems better. If I would raise the z-component of the nodes with 1 mm, it will gives better results. Is there something wrong with my codes or is it simply that you cannot have the nodes in the same plane as the surface?

Thanks in advance,

Jouri

I still have the same problem.. even if I try different setup.

This is another example: a simple box. 4 sides have an annual solar irradiation value.. but one side is 0.

The node input seems to be very important.. but the tutorials do not really explain how to get a good setup.

Thanks for any help..
