you could use it to have people wander and seek around a market. the exact psychology behind how people behave in this type of environment is not able to be simulated. but you could have them wander and setu a few seek targets that will draw them in to different places. you need to setup a bounding volume that represents the streets they can walk on (not the buildings they would collide with)

I see your point, but the problem is that I want the boids to move in a planar surface. Is there any parameter in the brain i need to adjust to make the points move only in the  XY plane?
