algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I'm attempting to create connection joints between the planar surfaces of the singular shape ( tetradecahedron),
however when i attempt to input the shape as a curve into the joint definition, it fails to collect data.. do i need to explode the shape so that they are all separated?
I'd love some advice as to what data/ parameter i need to input!
Thanks!

Hello Annie,
I didn't change anything inside the cluster, I never even opened it actually...
I was talking about the 2 sliders outside the cluster (the one sets the length of the lines and the other the size of the text).
Did you reference your brep inside Grasshopper? (right-click on the [Brep] component and set one Brep)
Maybe you referenced more than one breps? I don't know what could be wrong...
Why don't you post your GH file again (with the added components) to see what's the problem?
ah..
yup i did! here are the updated files. any chance you know what's going wrong?
Ok, I think I got this...
The cluster is using a component from kanaroo plugin (Remove duplicate lines). I am guessing you don't have this plugin installed and so the definition breaks at this point.
this is how the cluster should look:
Hopefully this is the problem and should be resolved by installing kangaroo plugin (which is an overall great tool btw) from here. (kangaroo physics 0.099 is the one you need for this).
Let me know if this worked.
I see now that you could skip the [dupLn] component but this will create each text-tag and polyline twice (one on top of the other). It will look ok though so... use at your own risk:
