algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I just started learning grasshopper. I already read Arturo Tedeschi's "Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper" and am starting on the Grasshopper Primer second edition. I am wondering if there is a written list of all the components with a short summary of what it does. Sometimes I see Grasshopper definitions and I don't know what the component does. It would be nice if I could look it up in a written list. Is there something like that out there? Is this something other people would like?

I agree it would be helpfulf for all the newbees like me,
by the way, were you able to do all of the exercises from the book, I got stuck on a couple.
It would be great if we could download the exercises from the web when purchasing the book.

Just take some time and browse each component in each panel.. It doesn't take so much time. Also once you do it, you know what are the possibilities, you don't really have to know each component...
EDIT : Each component has some basic help text, and most components are functions existent in any other software. If you know any 3d modeling app, you know the words - I mean extrude, loft, morph, skew, taper, chamfer, fillet are probably possible in every kind of 3d modeling software.
I agree!
It's will be heplful for all!
Good idea!
Welcome to
Grasshopper
