Have you looked at System.IO classes?

File:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.io.file(v=vs.110).aspx

Directory:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.io.directory(v=vs.110).aspx

It should not be difficult if you want to write .txt files.
