algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

Im trying to make some wooden slats along a curved surface so i can modify its thickness and its widht but i cant figure it ut the definition. I can make it in a planar surface but not in an irregular surface because i cant move the isocurves along the surface to loft them and the extrude them... I dont know if i explained correctly :(

Any help would very apreciated :)

Hello Dani

here is an example, with panel just in one direction, I did extract point of isocurve, I made a translation in U direction (forward, Backward) and normal direction so I had 4 curves, I made after that a Sweept 2 rail with a section line. I made a plane with 4 sections line at the beginning. You have to make the end side.

I normalize height and width.

I didnt figure it out how to make the translation but what you have made is exactly what i was looking for... Anyway, could you please attach an image of the definition because you have the newest version of GH and rhino and im still running the old one :(

I m allways learning new GH ways to solve my drawing problems, hope someday could help somebody like you just did.

Woww... i thought this definition was going to be quite easy and i just was missing something but i was completly wrong... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! 

It will take me a bit of time to analyze and understand it but it will be very helpful for learning new comands =)
