Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

In order to have a Graph Mapper to work well with variating ranges of numbers, you have to remap the values before and after the Mapper:

Wouldn't it be cool if Graph Mapper had four additional nodes to allow for domain customization?

Double click it :)
really:

Pieter, I think you are not getting the point here: we know you can click and modify the domains. But every time you change initial parameters in your definition, it sucks to change the mapper domains by hand to match these parameters. That's what we are trying to avoid.

It would be sweet to have the graph mapper automatically update its domains via connections.

Yeah, I noticed that a bit later, sorry about that. Should have been sleeping...
NP!

Instead of making 4 inputs with min & max values for x and y, there could be one input which would accept domain^2 component.

My greatest wish for graph mapper is to upgrade graph mapper precision. My idea is to edit nodes with double-click and type in x and y values (like slider).

Totally +1 on that!

or jusе divide all values by max. of them, then after - multiply on it.

That works, and that's what is done in the first screenshot I posted. But it is kind of complicated, the proposed way would be much cleaner and simple.

That's why this is a wishlist... ;-)

then my wish is to make possible to put graphmapper into a cluster to make it like a part of compnents interface (outerface ^-) ) then ve can just make a cluster for that... and a lot of other stuff

Ok man, whatever...
