algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi to all,
I have a stupid big problem, the system doesn't recognize .gh grasshopper extention files,
and reading this topic: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-make-computer-reco....
I seem to have realized that It's necessary to run GrasshopperRegisterExtensions command, but i dont found this.
Can someone help me?

Sorry, but i typed it and none of this appears.
Can you explain briefly how to solve the above problem of the *. gh. icons have all disappeared and are now associated with explorer. How you said in the other topic,I deleted:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.gh
in registry editor, but nothing happens.
in the image below you can see how the 2 keys :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.gh
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Grasshopper Document\DefaultIcon
appear in the register.
someone can help me?
Really I dont know how to do.
If you type GrasshopperRegisterExtensions and then press Enter nothing should happen. If you get a message in the Rhino command line saying "Unknown command: GrasshopperRegisterExtensions" then something clearly went wrong.
The command will attempt to set 4 registry keys that associate several grasshopper extensions with the icons we provide. Assuming the '.gh' extension:
The above is done for GH, GHX, GHA, GHUSER, GHLINK, GHLAYOUT and GHCLUSTER.
Note that any changes made to the registry while Windows Explorer is up and running may not be noticeable. You'll have to at least restart Explorer, perhaps all of Windows before you can be sure that a change didn't work.

The command work effectively, but i cant solved the problem.
I think I have problems deleting the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.gh
After uninstalling explorer everything is working fine.
Thank you David.
Hey, I've tried all of the things mentioned above as well as in the other post, but it hasn't worked. Deleted all gh related registries and upon computer restart, everything was just the same. Also after explorer restart. Does anyone have any other ideas or know what else this could be related to ? thanks!
