Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys.

I'm new here and just started learning grasshopper so it's confusing for me. I found a definition on the internet and it has a component that I can't find it in my grasshopper.

It's exp component and I typed exp and tried several components but it's different with the one in the picture. Expression was the closest one but it has a x y factors and it's not right I guess

Can you help me with this?

It may have been the 'Power of 10' or 'Power of e' component. I think it was called 'Exponent' before some of the others were added.

nope none of them worked :(

What else I should try ?

go to menu > display > draw icon

then post the same picture as above here

What does that do ? It's like below now

I can use it as a component ?

It's an image sampler now

you misunderstood me

activate the draw icon option

then post another screenshot of the component your in doubt which it is..

I don't think she has the file, she's trying to recreate a GH graph from an image someone posted online.

Yes I don't have the GH file, I just have a photo of it and I want to do it myself

Have you ever considered to post the entire image or a link to the tutorial you're following?

Oh sure sorry :D I uploaded the image in the last comment next page, I couldn't attach it here

David do you think it might be some kind of add on or plugin that creates this component ?

No I think it was the power of ten or power of two component.

i think the name of that component changed and if its a picture i believe there is no way you can find out what is it. :(
