Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

What can I do to make seperate piped segments load faster?

Created this piped geometry on grasshopper, and want to use it as a modular component to plug into a subdivided surface by having multiple of them, but because this piped geometry is too complex, it lags my computer a lot. Is there any way I can make this geometry more simple?

Baking it doesn't help, it's equally slow on Rhino.

Thanks in advanced!

Meshes will be faster than Breps I imagine, but GH doesn't have a mesh pipe component. I think some plug-in probably does, but I couldn't tell you which one.

But what do you need the more complex geometry for? Can't you just stick to your polylines? They are very efficient and fast.

alrightly, will try to search the internet for a plugin. Thanks a lot. i just need it to be piped somehow so i can render it!

Ok then meshes will definitely be sufficient. Also note that Rhino has CurvePiping, allowing you to convert your curves into meshes during rendering. But you'll need to bake your curves for that to work.
