algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I'm trying to make a waffle-definition, the only problem is with the vertical sections, the RegionDifference parameter shows Empty Curve...

The vertical sections work just fine though!

 

Would really appreciate any help!!

simplified the pathmapper

removed the unneccessary cross reference from top branch

flipped the notch curves matrix as they were in the wrong order.

How did you figure out that they are in a wrong direction? 

In cases like that i usually try to single out braches and ListItems that should combine and check if the inputs are make sense.

Here I use ExplodeTree to inspect only the first branch.

Seems a good way to debug things, thanks! 

 

btw, could you please take a look at one more issue, have no idea what's wrong...

Problem solved- the intersections between parts weren't good enough for Sdiff x_x

 

I studied your code. Very interesting.
I have a code that does something similar but different approach. When you use the sdifffuncioncion consume "a lot" computational resource.
I send you my code to see another approach.

Then I will try to do something with polygons
