Vray Proxies in Grasshopper

Hi,

I am currently doing a fairly large project and have some modules i would like to play around with grasshopper. These modules are fairly complex and thus i have decided to make them into a vray proxy.

However, when i reference this vray proxy into grasshopper and from there do translations and baking it, rhino does not recognise it as a vray proxy anymore but just a mesh.

Is there a way around this problem?
