thanks Danny!

hi guys- so this is my gh file.....some questions to ask!

1. For the bounding box (BBOX) command, it has C U P on the left, but mine only have C P on the left...so i can't connect it to the Toggle command...anybody knows why?

2. I'm not sure why the area command got red?

3. And the result was not the thing I wanted....(not sure why)

any help would be appreciated!!!!

Hi all...another Newbie here...

I'm trying to recreate the 3d-dreaming.com Voronoi Skeleton definition as originally posted in this discussion in the interest of trying to understand how it works. However, I'm having trouble doing so.

Attached is a pic and file showing what I'm working with and the associated problems.  Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Version I'm using:

Rhino v5.0

Grasshopper v0.9.0076

Weaverbird v0.9.0.1

MeshEdit 1.0.0.9

G input of scale should be the initial box, not volume as you have it. Scale factor should be smaller than 1 (something like .9). This is a very old definition and this is not the best way to do it. I will update it some day, but it works.

Much obliged, Michael. All's clear...though the loft component still doesn't seem to want to cooperate.  Still not getting a result as beautiful as yours...but that's to be expected as a newbie.

Any direction(s) you might be able to point me in regarding understanding these types of parametric iterations and definitions better is also appreciated (i.e. workshops, maestros, secret genie wishes, etc.).  I would like to understand GH enough to create new and innovative geometry as opposed to simply locating and copying definitions by someone else.

That said...thank you for sharing your exceptional work.

Hi guys  I have the same problem as Renee! everything seems to be correct, except for the area that brings up an error?

PLEASE help!

Kevin, set the C-input of the Polyline Component to True, that closes the polylines.
