Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

I am new here and trying to learn grasshopper program.

My question is how can I create a voronoi pattern on an object?

I finished the pattern with rectangle shape already.

When I want to do the same pattern on a triangle I get stuck.

So if anyone could help me that would be great.

I also included the file I did along with this discussion, just in case.

The triangle is on the file is the shape and dimension I would like to achieved.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi.

You'll be able to get sections with your brep by using "Brep/Brep(BBX)".

And have no idea how to downgrade the attachment for R4 user. Why don't you upgrade your rhino and Exowireframe?

Thank you very much for your help and I will upgrade my Rhino for sure.

Hi there,

I have another problem I hope some of you can help me.

I tried to wrap the voronoi pattern on a different shape (diamond shape, pls see the attachment) of model but I get an error saying that "one or more struts is engulfed by its nodes" Could anyone explain what is it and how to fix this?

I also attached the file along with this discussion.

Thank you very much in advance.

BTW, how can I download plug-in "removeduplicatelines"?

BR,

Pol

Literally.

You can fix the problem by adjusting the radius of the strut slightly until the frame is created.

Before you post, you should be patient and it would be nice to try various things.

Thank you very much and I will.
