voronoi on curve with planar cells

Hii! I'm trying to find way to apply a voronoi on a curved surface, but the resulting cells to be planar. The idea is to laser cut the cells into a material and assemble the curve. Any ideas? This is the result i want to achieve but with planar cells instead of curved ones!

u have to project the voronoi cells to the surface, in that way they will be curved.

if you just surface map the cells to the surface they will have straight lines

did you find a way to generate the planar voronoi cells on the surface?? i have the same problem here and need help!
