algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi there,
I've made this definition which maps a voronoi surface on a tower. It is working fine as long as I use a circular or elliptical profile for the tower. However when I use a regular polygon it doesn't seem to be mapping properly.
Is it not possible to use a regular polygon and map the voronoi around it similar to the definition which uses a circular profile?
Thanks for your help.

because a poly surface is multiple surfaces. In your case three.
Is there anyway to modify the script so that it could work with multiple surfaces?
Michael is there any way to merge multiple surfaces into one surface?
it will always be a poly surface. Your best bet I think is to make a voronoi 3d around the tower and intersect it with the tower.
Thanks Nick, Nice to see a new way of doing the same thing.
Thanks Mario. I was drawing smooth polygons manually. Didn't think of doing that though. I needed attractor points in my script and you've allowed me to retain it. :)
would you plz attach your file Nick, if you still have it.
hey!
i downloaded your file, there is an error in remove duplicate line tool and mesh thickness tool. can you please help me with this?
i have exactly the same problem. I always have this problem, when using removeduplicate lines/points. it ALWAYS says failed conversion from curve to line, when in fact the Polyline Curves (of which I want to remove the duplicates from) are made of segments of lines. So why does it always give this error message...please help
