algorithmic modeling for Rhino
So, here you'll see that i have an issue with the region intersect.
What i'm trying to do is create a catenary curveand have the voronoi fit within, so i used region intersect.
the problem is when i convert the voronoi's offset to a planar surface, the edges arent recognized as closed. I really want the whole project to be able to be baked and work at that stage without having to go in and create/delete more geometry.
So, my question.. How can i create a thickness around the top of the catenary so that the voronoi cells behave the same way as they do at the bottom? (i assume it only behaves properly because the bottom edge is the actual bounding box i have set).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. what should be attached is my gh file and the image of the bad behavior.

Hi Greg, I changed some things in your definition to get that. (N.B: in GH09.0056)
perfect! was the major change the location of fillet? Could you perhaps explain why that would matter? These types of errors are the things that make grasshopper such a steep learning curve for me, so any additional information as to how your change makes it work would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, it's the position of the Region Intersect. You wanted the catenary to be the boundary so you should trim the cells with that first. Then you can Offset the new shape of the cells. I accidentally switched the positions of the Fillet and Offset components, I'm sorry for the confusion, you can switch that back.
