Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have already created a series of cells using the 3D voronoi and baked them to solid pieces.

From here I would like to create additional 3D voronoi within the cells that were already created.

Here is an example of one of the cells I am referring to. The goal is to create voronoi lines in the 3D space confined to the cell.

I made the cell a brep to use as the bounding component to the 3D voronoi component.

Is it possible to then use the brep to also trim the excess that is outside of the cell?

I also do not see any lines being created from the 3D voronoi so I feel I am missing another component.

Any help would be great.

thank you

Hi Evan,

You can simply use the "Solid intersection" component to subtract the inner voronoi cells from the ones that are getting out of the larger one:
