it would be good to also join the outer cells with a straight line so they are all closed polylines like the rest of the voronoi cells.

Any ideas?

Ah... discontinuity and then polyline set to closed.

I made 3 options in my definition one is to spilt with surface .

and is that basically trim the needless curves from the original circle?
