Vector extrusion issue

Hello,

I am having an issue with how I can control the extrusion axis of a series of sections, when I change the vector parameters to alter its orientation.

the extrusion cannot change from the Z axis, even though the vector to point is altered.

Does anyone know what I have done wrong? is the Vector2pt not the correct option to use?

Grasshopper file and Definition are attached.
