algorithmic modeling for Rhino

VB.NET forms *or* Return of the Remote Panel

Hi Everybody!

Like most of you, I miss Remote Control Panel - well actually I haven't tried it, but need something very similar. So I was trying to implement VB.NET forms in GH that would output values and use them in stead of sliders. However, a friend of mine into computers told me it would be a mess, regarding event handling.

What I need to know is:

- is remote control coming back in the near future? 

- is it feasable (for a mere mortal) to implement a Remote Control using VB.NET components?

We had a small discussion on event handling and such using Python. Turns out that Steve over on the Rhino.Python forum made an example using Windows Forms. Here's a link to the thread with Mostapha's reply. Since it's all .NET I should probably be easier (well, better documented!) to implement in VB.
