algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all, I have a set of voronoi and I'd like to set several different radii using the same component. The component puts the 2 radii on the same point when I actually want them applied randomly to different points. Is this possible?

Thanks.

The problem is that voronoi works only with set of point. If you want to assign diffrent radii to each point it will not work as a set of points (you have to graft it) and voronoi works only with set of points.

I think that basic idea of making voronoi is to make perpendicular line in the middle of two points. In your case perpendicular line is not situated in the middle because of different radii. It is complicated :)

Thanks for the response - I'll carry on with a single set of points.

Cheers.

hmm if I'm not to late try metaball instead of voronoi - this is what you are looking for..
Thanks - that helps.
also see this thread for ways of accomplishing weighted voronoi: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/looking-for-weighted-voronoi
My solution is not that smart, but somehow i like it:-)
