Variation in diagrid structure

Hello,

I would like to create a facade with a diagrid structure. But not with diagrids of the same size. At an attractorcurve I would like to have smaller diagrids.  

Is there any way to have the diagrid nodes not aligned as u/v lines? And also is there any way to scale the diagrid so that it is in a smaller scale when closer to an attractor curve?

I used lunchbox to create the diagrid structure.
