algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

I wonder, if there is a comprising list of valid Expression (F), that work with the Evaluate component.

From time to time I come across some of them by accident like "Contains" or "Replace",  but this is just it and therefore I am unable to work with the Evaluate component systematically, which really bothers me.

I already went through the primer as well as the discussion forum searching with the terms "Evaluate" or "Evaluate component" - without any satisfying results.

Do you have any hints?

Many thx in advance

EDIT: I am of course aware of the fact, that I can already access a lot of logical and mathematical functions just by Double LMB on the component itself (Expression designer), but as far as I can see it does not offer functions like the ones mentioned above (e.g. "Contains" or "Replace)

The F:N->R button in the top right of the expression editor lists all functions that the expression language supports. It's a bit of a mixed bag at the moment, but that's not going to change any time soon.

Are you looking for this list?? You can access it when you open the expression editor in a component then click on the highlighted blue F:NR button.

When using expressions in components you need to use (x) and not the letter of the input. Don't know if all will work in Evaluate Component, some times I just use the expression component in the screen capture.

Why can't  I just keep on digging? As many times, the answer is so close. My sphere of action expanded just within an instant...

Thank you for that, David and Matt.
