using a VB script: Select All Objects on a Layer

Hi all,

i found this vb.net script that select all the objects on a layer here: http://en.wiki.mcneel.com/default.aspx/McNeel/SdkSelLayer

after many hours of trying to get it to work in grasshopper, i have come to ask the forums for help. its not a simply copy and paste job and so i was wondering where i should start?
