You should try downloading the plugin called Fabtools .

They have an awesome unroll component for Breps. Use a value list for the label input. A true or false toggle for the explode outputs, and then set the distance you'd like the pieces to be spaced if you do explode them. Then it also has a labeling component called text dot that will label your brep and the unrolled surfaces so you know how to construct it. I'm uploading a snapshot of how it could be setup with exploded unrolled surfaces.
