Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys!

I'm developing a definition to build a false ceiling

I divided the surface and use an attractor to give more complexity.

Now I have to unfold my strips in a plane, I tried with "triandulate surface strip tool" but dindn't work

someone could help with that?

Thanks!!

Does it have to be in Grasshopper? Because UnrollSrf with Explode=No works perfectly.

Then there are a bunch of plugins for Rhino with many options that would work, too.

Furthermore, what is your goal with this? As a ceiling, I imagine each surface would be fabricated as a separate piece, so wouldn't you want to document them individually? Just a thought.

I doing a prototype folding paper whit a vinylcutter,

I need to unfold not the entire surface but only the strips, then I'll stick thogheter....

maybe I'll do it whit smash command in Rhino, seems the fastest way

thanks Damon
