Unfolding a box

Hello all,

I'm sure this has been done before, but could someone point me in the direction of an example showing how to 'unwrap a box'. 

Ideally i'd like to be able to do this:

1. Define a box of any size.

2. Unroll the boxes 6 sides flat.

3. Export theses lines to cut a V-groove on the CNC machine and be able to re-fold it into a physical box.

We constantly build foamcore boxes for shipping architectural models and i'm looking for a more efficient box building technique.  Currently it takes 3-4 hours for a stupid box!

Any help would be awesome!
