algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm a beginner, so bear with me. I am trying to model an undulating truss in grasshopper. In theory it seems fairly easy, but could use advice on the steps and commands.

I have a curve which follows an undulating surface. All i need to do is offset it vertically (the truss is always parallel), divide both top and bottom curves by a particular distance, connect those points, and i guess extrude those connected points to give it a width and thickness.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Chris, I know you already have the Geometry Gym plug-in installed. You might find these topics give you a head start. I'm happy to help if you have questions after you have studied them.

Hi jon, I requested a license but didn't receive a reply, so i haven't even been able to use it! What should I do to receive it?
Hi Chris,

I just tried resending my reply. Maybe check your spam filter?

If you don't find either, get in touch on Grasshopper message or send me an email from another address.

Cheers,

Jon
