algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello everyone,
I need your advice, i would like to twist an object (a candlestick for example).
I already did it by beginning to a range of curve, as seen as many tutorials, twist, and then loft.
My problem is that i need to twist the entire object that i create, not depending on curve but on mesh or surface.
Have you any ideas to get the result, and have all the existing details?
I look forward to your response.
Ps : attached the candle stick, and the twist effect

It's easy to twist meshes, as you can operate on the vertices and twisting is a straightforward mathematical operation. Doing it to Breps, surfaces or curves is much harder and it will require the Rhino morphing tools and thus it will require scripting.
I attached a file which twists meshes. It's quite slow.

Thanks both of you for your quick answer, i get the perfect result!
Hey Danny,
Right now I am working with multiple twisted breps along moved rotation axis.
I found your definition very useful, but I am stuck with data tree.
Could you explain how to make your definition work for multiple breps?
thank you.
