Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I have a dimple question I'm sure.. how do I increase/ decrease the force of the x,y,z anchor? I tried mathematically tweaking it but the output is not a number..what do you suggest? thank you :)

Hi Kipodi,

AnchorXYZ is a hard constraint - for each dimension it is either on or off (and if on, that constraint will be enforced exactly, no matter what other forces are acting).

If you want to just pull points to a line or surface, you can use Shear, PullToCurve or PullToMesh.

hmm.. ok thank you, it would be nice if there was a possibility to have a tweaking component that can take the output force of the xyz anchors and "soften it" .. from a designer point of view.. it's much clearer because usually you fold along axes..

great work by the way, you work is highly appreciated!!
