Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone!

How can I turn Substrate lines into cells and use an attractor point for cell density? Here is what I am trying to create:

my ghx experiments are also attached :\

hi,

i wrote a little component that takes a bunch of lines (which are already split with each other, e.g. using karamba's line-line intersect&split component) and finds the cells which are closed. it's in karamba's utilities, needing the connectivity tree as given by spider web as an input ..

maybe this helps you [as i dont really understand what you mean with cell density],

best

Robert

Robert thank you for your help:)

With your tips I used substrate and karamba together. The Line-Line Intersection split my object into points and lines. I am not sure what to do with the points and lines to make cells. The GCFL is looking for an input diagram. You said it should be a spider web how do I make a spider web?

thanks!

I figured out my own noob question... I sliced the rect surface with the Karamba lines.

"Surface Split"

duuuuuh

Spider web is a plug in for Grasshopper. Take a look on it.
