Trying to Load Grasshopper 0.8.0066 using Rhino Version 4 SR 9

I recently downloaded the evaluation version of Rhino v. 4 SR 9.

I am running windows 7 64 bit

I downloaded Grasshopper 0.8.0066

I downloaded vcredist_x86.EXE from Microsoft's website

I go to Tools>Options>Plugins and select Install

I select GrasshopperPlugin.rhp and select open

Before I downloaded and ran vcredist_x86.EXE, I would get an error message. Now nothing happens. The plug-in list does not show the Grasshopper plug-in in the list.

What do I need to do to load Grasshopper?

did you get a screen warning or something?

did you write down "grasshopper" on the comand line in rhino?

At first I got the same screen warnings that are discussed in this post:

after running the C++ update the screen error no longer appeared

When I type Grasshopper on the command line, it says 'Unknown Command'

try uninstalling and deleting the grasshopper folder in rhino plugins and reinstall again, hope it works for you, same happen to me a couple months ago
