algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Let me first apologize for the broad nature of this question.
I've a pattern that I'm generating with GH, which ends up in many intersecting lines. The first image is the raw pattern generated by GH:
The Second image represents the goal I have for trimming these lines:
Notice that the innermost intersections of this pattern have been trimmed away, resulting in an open curve, suitable for patterning.
I realize this to be a likely in depth approach, and I'm curious of the different approaches that might produce this final result. I've played around with several combinations of trim components, intersection components, and similar; all to little avail.
