Trim surface with curve?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to trim a surface with a series of ellipses because I need to create the facade of the following building for an assignment. I have come up with this defenition to project the curves onto the surface now i just want to use that to create the building facade. Any ideas? please help me :S

The building is Diller and Scofidio's 'The Broad'
