Trim permanently

Hi

I have a trimmed surface i bring into Grasshopper via. the surface component. I am only interested in the trimmed surface, but when i use for example the dimensions component, it registers the untrimmed surface, and ie. surface divide also works on the trimmed surface. Is there anyway to trim it permanently?

I found a solution. I created a C# component, which uses the Brep.Shrinksurface function.

Hey Thomas,

 

I'm trying to do this right now, but am not very familiar with C#.  Any Suggestions? or could I take a look at your component?
