algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a pattern with overlapping circles, and I just want to trim the area between each circle and it's offset, basically so there are no overlapping curves.

I've tried to use the "Trim with Regions" component but haven't been able to get it to work like I want.

Any help? I've attached my gh file. Thanks!

If I understand you correctly, I think it's actually more challenging than it looks...

My first thought was two turn them into surfaces first, and then find the right surface intersections...

I think it may be one way to do it, but I am struggling to clean out the intersections and merge all the surfaces... see attachment.

I found some discussions on a similar topic, but I am not sure if the same solutions can be applied.

David solved it here with a simple VB script, but I tried it, and couldn't get it to work.

I also thought you could try it with meshes. I will tinker with it later...

Hopefully someone will have better ideas/solutions!
